A security robot
that lives on
your yard.
At any alarm point in under a minute, with a human operator on the screen. £989 a month after a free 30-night pilot.
Leave your number. We ring you for 2 minutes: where the yard is, what is kept there, what has been happening at night.
THE FILM · TWO MINUTES
Your cameras see it.
Outwarden goes and checks.
- Standby. The robot waits on its station on your yard, all night, every night. No shift, no overtime, no no-show.
- Patrol. A human operator drives the robot round the yard. Every metre is on video with a timestamp.
- Check. An alarm from your cameras or your ARC: the operator has the robot at that spot in under a minute, lights on, close-up video live to your control room.
Stop sending a van to check a fox. A call-out costs £45 to £75 and takes 20 to 60 minutes. Outwarden checks it in under a minute, on video. Checks are unlimited; the van stays in the depot.
The film plays by itself and stops on every sentence long enough to read it. Tap the right side of the picture to go on, the left side to go back.
01 / IN PLAIN WORDS
What Outwarden is.
For those who would rather read it.
The problem
A fenced yard at night: trailers, vans, plant, cars, and a few cameras on poles. The cameras see the gate and the fence line. They do not see between the trailer rows, behind the machinery or round the back of the containers. When a camera or a detector triggers at two in the morning, someone has to decide whether that was a person or a fox. From a grainy still, usually nobody can tell. So either a van is sent, and paid for, or nothing is done and the yard hopes for the best.
What Outwarden is
A four-wheeled robot with a camera on a 1.6 m mast, lights, and a charging station that lives on your yard. It is not a self-driving machine. A trained operator in our control room drives it over a mobile link and sees what it sees, in the same way a person drives a drone. Every metre it drives is recorded with a timestamp.
What it does every night
Twice a day — 60 recorded patrols a month — it drives a patrol route around the yard, on video. Between patrols it waits on its station. When an alarm comes in from your cameras, your detectors or your alarm receiving centre, the operator drives the robot to that spot, usually in under a minute, puts the lights on and brings the camera close. Your control room watches the live picture and decides what happens next: a recorded warning, a keyholder, a patrol visit, the police. In the morning there is a short report: how many patrols, how many alarms checked, how many vans sent.
What it does not do
It does not chase, catch or touch anyone. It never leaves the fence. It does not replace your guarding company or your cameras; it gives them a close look before they send a person. If the mobile link drops, it stops where it is.
What it costs and how it starts
A free 30-night pilot: we deliver the robot, set it up and it works from the first night. Nothing to install on your side beyond a power socket and mobile signal. After 30 nights you keep it at £989 a month, or we take it away.
Leave your number, we ring you for 2 minutes

Also worth a call: container self-storage, construction sites, vacant sites. If it is fenced, paved and has something worth stealing, ask us.

Unlimited means unlimited. The contract carries a fair-use figure of up to 500 checks a month: an alarm every 45 minutes, all night. If a yard ever gets there, you get a call from us, not an invoice.
Also available, priced on the call: an operator reserved for one site, several robots on one yard, weekly hire for a construction or temporary site.
VAT. Prices are ex VAT. VAT at 20% is added on the invoice; VAT-registered businesses reclaim it.
04 / THE BLIND SPOTS
Cameras see the open ground.
Outwarden goes into the blind spots.
And brings back the proof.
Your cameras raise the alarm. A remote operator drives Outwarden in for a closer look, with light and a camera. Your UK security team sees the footage and decides what happens next.
See the robot move. Then talk about your yard.
Illustrative layout. Sight lines are ray-cast in plan against every object drawn here. Cameras, towers and the robot are drawn over life size.

06 / GOOD QUESTIONS
Let's make
it clear.
The equipment, the operators
and the night on site.
Is a person really driving it, or does it drive itself?
A person. A trained operator drives every patrol and every alarm check over a mobile link and sees what the robot sees, much as you would drive a drone. There is no self-driving software to get confused at three in the morning, and there is always someone on the screen when your team needs a closer look.
Who are the operators, and where do they work?
Trained Outwarden operators in our own control room in Lviv, Ukraine, working in English on UK night hours. They drive the robot and point the camera; they do not assess incidents and they contact nobody outside your process. We work as a disclosed overseas supplier to your SIA Approved Contractor, following the SIA's guidance for approved contractors using overseas suppliers, and it is put in writing before the first night rather than discovered later.
What stops it working — weather, mud, a dropped signal?
Rain, snow and frost are normal working conditions: it was built for streets, not warehouses. It is not made to drive through standing water, so the operator steers round flooded ground, and in deep snow or ice patrols are shortened while alarm checks carry on wherever the route is passable. If the mobile link drops it stops where it is, waits and tells the operator; it does not carry on by itself.
What if someone tries to damage it or take it?
It weighs 45 kg, sits low, carries cameras all round and can play a recorded warning on your control room's instruction, so it is not an easy thing to walk up to. It can still happen, and if it does, the whole attempt is on time-stamped video. The machine is ours, not yours, and keeping one working on your yard is our job.
Does it replace our guards or our cameras?
No. It does not replace your cameras, your monitoring or your guarding company; it gives them a close look before anyone has to be sent. The most common arrangement is also the simplest: the guard stays at the gate and the robot drives to the far corner.
How does the price compare with guards, towers and patrol visits?
For scale, from published UK prices (monthly = weekly × 4.33): a managed CCTV tower with loss waiver and alarm response, about £2,000 a month (£460 a week in a 2025 council quote, plus £780 delivery); two mobile patrol visits a night, about £1,520 a month (£25 a visit); a static guard for 12-hour nights, from £7,300 a month (£20 an hour). Outwarden is one price, whatever the night does.
Who decides what happens on the night, and who rings the police?
Your side does. We put the live picture and the recording in front of your control room; the assessment, the recorded warning, the keyholder, the patrol visit and any call to the police stay with your licensed team, through the alarm receiving centre and the police reference number it already holds. The robot never raises a police call itself. The first two weeks of every pilot run in shadow mode: it patrols and checks, your team watches, and nothing is escalated automatically.
Where is the video kept, and who can see it?
On servers in the UK or the EU. Operators have view-only access under UK GDPR transfer terms signed before any live video, and every access is logged. Clips are time-stamped and kept in their original format, how long they are kept follows your own policy, and the robot does not record audio from the site. A data protection impact assessment is available for review.
What do we tell our insurer?
Describe it as what it is: a mobile, remotely operated camera platform feeding the monitored cameras and response you already have. It is an extra layer of verification, not a replacement for anything named in your policy, so if the policy calls for a guard, a system or a patrol visit, none of that changes unless your insurer agrees it in writing. We go through the exact wording with you on the call.
What does the yard have to provide?
One 230 V socket for the charging station, mobile coverage on the yard, hard-standing to drive on and a fence to stay inside. No cabling, no building work and nothing mounted on your building; installation takes a day and it works the same night. If one of those four is missing, say so on the call and we will tell you straight away whether it is workable.
How does it fit our cameras and our alarm receiving centre?
Video goes out by ONVIF and RTSP, the standards your recorder and your control room already speak. Alarms come in from your cameras, your detectors or your ARC by API, e-mail or phone, whichever you use today. We confirm your setup before the pilot, so nothing has to be built and nobody is left owning an integration.
What are we committing to?
The first 30 nights are free: we deliver the robot, set it up, and it works from that night. After that it is £989 a month ex VAT on a four-week minimum term, and you cancel by e-mail. If you would rather not keep it, we take it away and that is the end of it. That is the whole point of starting with 30 free nights rather than a signature.
Can we buy the robot outright?
No — it is a service only. That way keeping it running every night is our problem rather than yours, and you are never left with a machine on the yard that nobody maintains.
